The
AES system consists of the capturing and
electronic transmission of data.
AES is a time-saving export information
gathering and processing system cooperatively
developed by members of the export community,
the U.S. Customs Services, the U.S. Census
Bureau’s Foreign Trade Division, and other
federal agencies.
AES is the central point through which export
shipment data required by multiple Agencies are
filed electronically with Customs.
